For those who follow my personal life as friends, family, and colleagues....
or simply read my last "MUSIC" post... You will know about my love of kpop. For those who do not know kpop "lingo"... most kpop artists are made up of groups of 2 to over 13 members. With so many members and different groups to be a fan of, often times fans will have a "bias" or favorite member from the groups that they follow. For anyone interested in who mine are.... here is the break down you never asked for: BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan): Bias: Namjoon Wrecker: (old: Taehyung) (new: Jin) Stray Kids: Bias (og): Hyunjin Ult Bias (now): Bang Chan Simply adorable people: Jeongin and Felix Got7: Bias (og): Jinyoung Bias (new): Jaebum Wrecker: Jackson and Mark TXT (TomorrowXTogether): Bias: Yeonjun Wrecker: Soobin (maybe Beomgyu too???) Other Groups: Blackpink: Jennie Twice: Dahyun BigBang: GD MonstaX: Wonho For those that have meandered through this blog's pages & found themselves here accidentally, thank you for reading a bit of kpop fangirling that you never asked for... If anything, go check out some music this week that you never thought you would give a listen to! Whether that is kpop, rap, country, edm, or something brand new.... don't judge the artist by the genre! There are countless artists that I never thought that I would listen to... but I found 1-2 songs that intrigued me in the midst of genres that were foreign to my pop-washed playlists. Wishing you a great week - filled with even better music! -SP

Today was a craazy day. I woke up, ate breakfast, and went to class (the usual). When I got to class I checked my Twitter to see if there were any BTS updates, since they are in LA. Ummm... Twitter was bloooowing up because BTS was going to perform at Ellen today. Not only that, but Ellen was letting in ARMY (BTS fans) members into the show to watch the performance in the Riff Raff room.
So I naturally ran out of class, ran home, got in an Uber, and raced to Ellen. I got in line (*whew*). But unfortunately me and about 100 other ARMYs couldn't go inside. Buuut that was not stopping me! I didn't care if I waited alll day, I just wanted to see them! And I did! Bonus I saw Ellen too! Standing in line for 2/3 hours after finding out that you can't go in might not sound very fun. But fangirling with all the other ARMYs in line made the time fly by, and was so fun! TBH I don't know too many people that are into BTS and Korean fashion, so it was so fun to talk to people who speak the 'BTS fangirl language.' First, came Ellen driving out of the lot in her sports car... of course indulging us ARMYs and falshing a smile for us. Then, about 30 min. later, the BTS cars pull out and OMYGOSH was I screaming. The video I have sounds like we were all in a horror film xD ...but honestly I was so so happy and excited just to be able to see them for a moment. :) And I literally flipped my lid when I saw RM's car (my bias)... Fair warning to anyone starting to dabble in KPOP it is a very quick and often unintentional fall into the fandom. But anyways, I got to see the BTS boys and Ellen and my day was made! I may or may not have missed a couple classes...woops... but totally worth it... Especially considering that I won't be making a trip to S. Korea anytime soon. Anyways, that the story of how I got to see my fav band in person! Hope you all had a wonderful day, and make sure to check out BTS's debut of Love Yourself: Tear! xoxo SP (a now full blown member of the BTS ARMY) this is a friendly Public Service Announcement...
If you have not already, Listen to BTS! P.S. Watch their BEAUTIFUL music videos, and you will understand. xo Sienna P. Literally been watching the music videos for these over and over.... needless to say check em out. - xoxo SP
