Hiya Folks! Welcome back to the blog... if you have had your ear to the ground in the Disney community, then you know that Disney has come out with MaxPass!
If you missed it, then here is the low-down.
-$10/day/pass on top of general admission into the parks
How to Purchase:
-on the Disney app
What does it get you?
-ability to get fast passes on your phone from anywhere in the parks
-free photopass downloads
Is it worth it?
I took a solo day trip to Disney... as my last trip before my pass expired. As a treat to myself, I wanted to make it the best day ever! So I invested in a locker (msg me if you have questions... personally I love them for long Disney days!) and I also bought MaxPass!
MaxPass helped me be able to plan out my day and get Fast Passes for California Adventure for later in the day, while enjoying current fast passes at Disneyland. Basically, it saved my feet from running around between parks and across the parks just in order to get fast passes. With MaxPass, I could get on nearly all of my top pick rides for the day, watch the fireworks, and have beautiful *free* professional photos to take home too.
I would not recommend getting MaxPass everyday of your trip, but a day or two can be a wonderful way to actually save money and make the most of your trip.
One of the best souvenirs are professional photos with characters/the castle and memorable attraction photos. By spending only $10/person you save on purchasing PhotoPass prints. Depending on your party size, $10/person may be a bit much.
If that's the case, it is still worth it for the free photo downloads!
Take a day of your trip... and dedicate it more to meeting characters and riding rides that take photos.
(Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Cars Racers, etc.)
Overall, I LOVED my experience with MaxPass and found it convenient that I could still download my photos weeks after my trip.
Hope this helps in planning your next magical adventure!
Have a magical day Mouseketeers!
